I head out for a run with KA; over to Patterdale in the Cali and then run the TdH route, but only the loop from Patterdale, but that's plenty enough for us both, 17 miles.
A bit wet, a bit breezy and a bit cloudy, but nothing will bring me down today. We run along to Glenridding, up to Greenside Mines (seeing Charles on the way) and then climb to Swarth Beck and onto Sticks Pass. A bit chilly up here so quickly down to Stannah Bridge and then the long trudge, via Thirlspot, to Dunmail. Then it's up to Grisedale Tarn and the long run down Grisedale Valley back to the Cali....and a very welcome brew.
Even manage a quick pint in the Watermill on the way home, a top day :-)
