This is now becoming the norm for Monday’s; I like it but training is very muddy but at least the earlier storm has passed.

Arnside Ride - Sunday 12th January 2020
KA and I head to Arnside on bikes, quick stop for apple pie and custard and then back on usual route.
Sale Fell - Saturday 11th January 2020
A wild day, very windy and a bit wet; KA and I head out to run the Sale Fell race route, and it’s very tough going in these conditions.
Swim - Friday 10th January 2020
Just an early swim today, should really have run too but it’s been a tough week.
Pilates / Spin - Thursday 9th January 2020
Back to Pilates with Rebecca and then back to spin with Bob, a busy evening.
Swim / Training - Wednesday 8th January 2020
An early swim and then training with Helm in the evening; tempo run on loops around golf course / Undercliffe.

BROGA & Training - Monday 6th January 2020
New regime, BROGA at 7am on a Monday - good way to start the day. Then run training in the evening.
Ride - Sunday 5th January 2020
Another gloomy day; out on bike from home, Brigsteer, Underbarrow, Crook, Burneside. 27km.
Kielder Trail Race - Saturday 4th January 2020
Flying solo this time; a good 10 mile trail route and I run well, slightly quicker than previous year. A gloomy day though.
Nine Standards Fell Race - Wednesday 1st January 2020
A clear head and under-indulged at Christmas should bode well. I like this race and it’s been a couple of years since I was last here. I run well, conditions are good and, although far from my quickest time, I’m pleased with my run.
A very long quick catch-up - Monday 26th August to 31st December 2019
29th August - 2nd September - OMM Alps with KA; a fantastic trip to Lenzerheide and a great mountain marathon......oh, and we won the B Course, 1st Mixed, 1st Mixed Vets and 1st overall !!
7/9 - Grisedale Horseshoe - a good race and I ran well.
1-17/9 - Sweden. A couple of days in Stockholm, including the ABBA museum. Then fly north to trek hut-to-hutbin Jämtland. Love Sweden.
20-22/9 - Salomon Ring of Steall Skyline Race - didn’t go to plan, KA to hospital, me pushed on. What a great route but too many people.
5/10 - Legs 3 & 2 of Hodgson Brothers Relay
12/10 - Manor Water, great race North of the Border.
19/10 - British Relays, Dark Peak, nav leg for me and Peter G, we do ok.
27/10 - Ennerdale Trail race, ran well, but disappointed with new shoes :-(
2/11 - Tinto Hill Race
3/11 - Derwent 10
10/11 - Great Gable, Remembrance Day Service.
16/11 - Glentress Trail Race
23/11 - Sale Fell Race
1/12 - Hexhamshire Hobble
7/12 - Langdale 10k
14/12 - Fishers Abraham’s Espresso Round
21/12 - Hartfell with Euan
22/12 - Christmas Pudding Run, Smethphy Wood
26/12 - Lingmoor and Little Langdale with Craig
27/12 - NFR Choc O
29/12 - Carnethy Loop
Plus all the usual training, steady runs, rides, circuits, swim, spin and much more.
