HIIT - Tuesday 25th August 2020

 A tough and very sweaty circuit class this morning. 

BROGA & Run - Monday 24th August 2020

 Early BROGA and then an evening run on Scar, glorious weather and lots of familiar faces to chat to. 

Extended Fairfield Horseshoe - Sunday 23rd August 2020

 A wet day, around Fairfield and onto Red Screes, then it got even wetter, on my own too :-( 

Ride - Saturday 22nd August 2020

 Out with Craig; Oxenholme, Old Hutton, Kirkby, Barbon, Middleton, Three Hares (delicious coffee & walnut cake), Beckfoot, Appleby Road, Kendal. 

Run - Friday 21st August 2020

 I manage to avoid the heavy showers but not the strong winds on my 10k’ish road run.

 Early BROGA session, then late afternoon ride to Beetham and Arnside.

BROGA - Monday 17th August 2020

 Just early BROGA for me today. 

Run - Sunday 16th August 2020

A damp and humid day. KA and I run from Eltwrwater; Lingmoor, Blea Tarn, Little Langdale, Tilberthwaite, Coniston Copper Mine Valley, Coniston, Tarn Hows, Skelwith and back to Elterwater. 18 miles.   

Ride & HIIT - Saturday 15th August 2020

 Ride with Craig, Russ & Matt. Out to Natland, Stainton, Viver, Ackenthwaite, Holme, Yealand, Silverdale (Wolfhouse Gallery for delicious cinnamon buns), Arnside, Sandside, Levens, Brigsteer hill. 

Then a HIIT session, too hot. 

Run - Friday 14th August 2020

 Another hot one, to Scout Scar with KA. 

BROGA & Ride - Thursday 13th August 2020

 Usual early BROGA and then an afternoon ride from the office; a bit further than usual, to Holme, Yealand, Silverdale & Arnside.

 The usual 10k’ish road route from the office, a very hot day.

Lowther Trail Race - Sunday 9th August 2020

Another hot day; KA and I head to Lowther for the first official post-lockdown race. It’s a cracking trail route, very runnable; we do ok but the heat gets to us. 

Ride - Saturday 8th August 2020

Ride with Craig, Russ & Matt. Out to Sedbergh, Dent, Barbon and back via Rigmanden, Old Hutton & Oxenholme. A glorious day to be out. 

Run - Friday 7th August 2020

 Very hot 10k’ish road loop from the office. 

BROGA & Ride - Thursday 6th August 2020

 Early BROGA session and then a late afternoon ride from the office, the Arnside loop. 

Run - Wednesday 5th August 2020

A wet and windy evening, but mild too. KA and I run around the Reston Scar Scamper race route, very overgrown in places.

Not on top form, miss BROGA but make it out for a run on Scar late afternoon. 

Ride - Sunday 2nd August 2020

A busy day, a lot to get done at home. But make it out late afternoon on bike, to Brigsteer, Underbarrow, Crook, Ings, Staveley, Burneside, home. 

Run - Saturday 1st August 2020

Head to St Johns in the Vale with KA. Run along valley, just below High Rigg and then across and climb Clough Head, Great Dodd, Watson’s Dodd, Stybarrow Dodd, Raise, White Side, Lower Man and Helvellyn. Then descend to Brown Crag, Stanah Bridge and back to Legburthwaite. Good run, 15 miles and plenty of climb. 

Run - Friday 31st July 2020

A very hot 10k’ish road run at lunchtime. 

BROGA and Ride - Thursday 30th July 2020

Early BROGA session that out after work on bike. Longer ride again, Heversham, Viver, Ackenthwaite, Beetham, Storth, Silverdale, Arnside, Sandside and back to Levens. 

Sedbergh Run - Wednesday 29th July 2020

Head over to Sedbergh After work with KA, steady warm-up then hard reps to summit of Arrant Howe. Steady back down as recovery.
