A dry day, a bit windy and not that warm; I drive to Brigsteer Woods and head off on my usual route to the Scar. Up to Helsington Church, down to the track, along to the Brigsteer road, then farm track, through the woods to the farm, steep climb onto Scar, to Mushroom back along to trig point, head down to Brigsteer Road, Heslington Church, across field to car - that's the route !
A good run, great views to the Lakeland fells from my favourite place on the Scar :-)
Long weekend ahead, hope to run Saturday, pack in some miles on low level trails and then on the fells on Monday. Weather forecast not great but can't let that stop me.
