Today doesn't go to plan.
I head over to Ambleside and run the Loughrigg / Silver Howe race route; 8.5 miles and 2,500' of climb. Manage to avoid most of the wet weather, a bit breezy on the summits and sensible to have steered clear of the higher summits; but should have been out for longer.
later on head over to Staveley for a quick run over Potter Tarn, Potter Fell and Brunt Knott - Russ gets dragged away from spectating the bowls match...sorry about that Russ !
