After a much needed lie-in I decide to head out on bike. The weather is improving but I am cautious and end up overdressing. Park at Force Bridge and head back towards Natland and then usual route, heading to Arnside. But just before getting there swing left and loop out to Silverdale; a quick stop at the shore, the weather is now glorious and I regret wearing my heavier long-sleeved Gore cycle top !
Then on towards Arnside but stop for tea and cake at Holgates Caravan Park. Then on to Arnside and back via Sandside, Heversham and Hincaster. A very enjoyable afternoon.
