Have a meeting early afternoon so take advantage of this and head over to Ambleside.....my running kit just happens to be in the back of the Quattro :-)
The earlier rain has cleared and the fells look stunning. Decide on the Loughrigg / Silver Howe race route, again; this is becoming one of my favourite shorter fell runs.
Good running, wetter underfoot than it has been but still great to be out. Back after a couple of hours and then after a quick turnaround head to the Beer Festival at Staveley.
