Staveley Run - Sunday 18th September 2011

An early start - it's dry but there is low cloud and mist.

From Staveley I follow the River Kent and cut up through Hagg Farm. Up the track to Potter Tarn, it's still misty but it looks like it might clear.

Up to Gurnal Dubs and then head north to the Summit of Potter Fell - the views are improving, but come and go, the ground is very wet. Through the mist I decide to take in the summit of Brunt Knott, I glad I do; the mist clears and the views are great - there is a partial cloud inversion with just the summits poking out of the mist - stunning.

Fast run back to the village and then in for a bacon & egg roll with a latte - a good way to finish a good run.
