The day starts fine but is forecast to turn wet later. I drive over to Grizedale and decide to ride the Silurian Way - 14 mile loop from the Visitor Centre.
It is all on good forest tracks and a little road at the end. The going is fast and the views good. It stays dry until the road section when a heavy drizzle starts to fall. Soon back at the camper for coffee.
Decide to call in to the Hawkshead Brewery in Staveley on the way home for a quick pint.
