Lunch at the Strickland Arms today.....fish & chips and a pint of Bluebird....an afternoon run is going to be uncomfortable with this laying heavy on the stomach !
But not a good enough excuse, so I head off after work for my usual run along the river to Hawes Bridge and back along the canal path.
It is sunny and pleasant, the earlier heavy showers have passed. I think my legs and body have not got over Ennerdale....it's just the mental scars that need to heal!
