So need to drive today, it does add 4 miles of road walking but it's still not going to be a long day out. So South along the A93 to Auchallater Farm before heading off on a track into Glen Callater.
It's dry, cooler than yesterday and very breezy, but cloud is high and its dry. I soon climb onto the ridge and follow this for a few kilometres to the summit. No other walkers about, but can hear stalkers in the distance !
Then a short drop down to another track and a long walk out of Glen Callater, back to the A93. So not a long day out but another tick and time to browse in Braemar and check out the new coffee shop, The Bothy.
