A Champs race and one I need to run. A good club turn-out - Craig, Garry, Robin, Seb, Lee, Dave A, Lyndsay and Lynsey; I run well, better than expected, and am pleased and surprised to see Russ at the summit. It stays mainly dry and just a little mist on the summit.
I am pleased with my descent route but Lee takes a more direct line and easily passes me; perhaps this is just his better downhill running than mine - no chance of catching him. But still continue to run well and finish 10th, 3rd MV40; for these I win 10 bottles of not-so quality French beer, Seb finishes a fantastic 2nd and wins 2 bottles !!
A good evening out, great race and very sociable.
