What a day, it has not stopped raining ! But there is a glimmer of hope, the rain eases and I decide to head out around usual Lyth Valley route.
I bump in to Jon Broxap, who is heading to Levens to collect his car, so ride with him as far as the Lyth valley - it's good to chat.
It stays dry but there is a lot of surface water, it's windy too but this seems to be behind me most of the way.
Soggy bott.....need hot shower !
