Had hoped to race at Coniston but for various reasons, including it being short-coursed, I make other plans. Run from Elterwater, over Lingmoor, back of Blea Tarn, Little Langdale, Tilberthwaite, Hole Rake, Coniston, Monk Coniston, Tan How's, Black Crag, Skelwith, Elterwater - probably about 20 miles. A reasonable day, the high fells look stunning - Spring snow.
