The weather clears during the day and I head on my bike in the afternoon for a slightly extend Lyth Valley loop from Natland; stop off at Sizergh Castle on the way back for coffee and cake.
Then later, head out again from Natland around the Lyth Valley route; get caught in a heavy downpour just as I come back from Sedgwick; soaked and nearly dark when I get back to Natland.
