A slightly better forecast....well in terms of rain but not wind ! Decide on a relatively low route from Elterwater: over Lingmoor (and it definitely was windy up there), Blea Tarn, Tilberwaite, Tarn How's, Skelwith and back to Elterwater; a 15 mile route. Then to Chesters for a late lunch.
