So 5 of us, Steve, Russ, Kath & Lindsay, head over to Coniston for a round of the fell - this is one of my favourite runs.
The weather is great, cold and clear, as we set-off for our first objective, Wetherlam. We move well, onto Black Sails, Swirl Hows, Great Carrs, Grey Friar, Brim Fell, Old Man of Coniston, Dow Crag and Buck Pike - great stuff :-)
Desecend via Walna Scar road and then into the Sun Inn for beer and soup - a good day on the fells with good company.
