Head up to North Lakes with KA for a run around the Anniversary race route. A favourite of both of ours. A dull day though, not the blue sky and sunshine like yesterday. But it's dry, not too windy and the cloud base is high.
From Stair a steady run out along the track and then a little road to Newlands Church. Then along the valley before a steep climb up to Robinson. Next Hindscarth and easy running to Dale Head. A little frosty and care needed on the rocks.
The descent from here is never great, today we try the path and that is no better, probably worse but at least we know. Along to Maiden Moor and good running before the last short climb to Catbells and then a great descent back to Stair.
A good run out and then into Keswick for lunch.
