A very wet, windy and wild day. Any hopes to head high are soon put to bed so settle for a run from Staveley. We head out along river and then up to Potter Tarn, seeing Patrick on the way.
A good decision, the rain in incessant and we battle against the wind. On up to Gurnal Dubs, Potter Fell and Brunt Knot, hard going and a relief to drop back down to the village; especially as we head to More for a bacon roll and coffee.
