A very cold start but a beautiful clear sky and sunshine. Head over to Langdale but it soon clouds over and becomes a cold a gloomy day. Over 600 runners in the race today and the start is delayed which is frustrating given how cold it is.
I manage to start on the front line but run well. It's the usual route, along the valley, through the Timeshare, through Elterwater and out onto the Common and then back along the valley.
